Back at My Local with Gordon Smith

Back at my local, again, such a chore. This time there was a BBC camera crew making a documentary called Mediums- Talking with the Dead October 2004 on BBC2. Day one, we had investigated the history of the pub and the experiences of others in detail. We gathered a number of interesting facts about the pub, owners names from 1770 upwards, the changes that it had gone through in time. The lounge started life as a grocers shop and then became a barbers shop before becoming the lounge I know and love now.

We had taken statements from witnesses that have heard strange noises coming from upstairs and the positive thing was that they heard them in a group. Another witness worked in the pub 10-15 years ago and he doesn't like speaking about it but never the less he said to us that he has heard foot steps going across the ceiling of the lounge, when he knew there was no one upstairs, as he was about to lock up.Day 2, Gordon had been kept in the dark about any of these facts or it would have defeated the purpose of the exercise. Gordon didn't even no where he was going. He was brought into the pub and taken up stairs, this area was last occupied as a home in around 1940's. Gordon went straight to one corner and the information he provided us with amazed me. He stated the owners name, spoke about an old man, possibly the old man from the corner that the child had spoken to. He said that someone heard foot step at one time and a number of other very interesting facts.I had asked Gordon if he could guide me and point me in the direction of where to take photographs he did and the proof is in the picture. Surely this cannot be dust?

May be that not all the spirits in the pub are of the alcoholic kind?
